District Meetings

Each year, The American Dairy Association North East provides updates on national and local promotion activities at 21 district meetings held throughout the market area. District meetings provide an opportunity for dairy farmers to elect local representatives to serve on the ADANE Board of Directors and ask questions about programs.

Join us for a Driving Dairy Discussions training to learn how to lead positive conversations about tough issues facing our dairy industry.

All trainings will start at 9 a.m. with registration and a light breakfast with the program starting at 9:30 a.m. Trainings will conclude by 2 p.m.

DAIRY CHECKOFF ORGANIZATIONS CONSOLIDATE TO BECOME AMERICAN DAIRY ASSOCIATION NORTH EAST

NEARLY 14,000 DAIRY FARMERS IN A SIX STATE REGION UNITED

In February, the dairy farmer leadership of American Dairy Association and Dairy Council, Inc., Mid-Atlantic Dairy Association and Pennsylvania Dairy Promotion Program voted unanimously to create American Dairy Association North East, effective March 1, 2016. Learn more here.

The Pennsylvania Distinguished Dairy Woman Award was presented to Patricia (Patty) Purcell, who has dedicated more than 25 years of her professional career to serving dairy farmers throughout Pennsylvania and the Mid-Atlantic region through her work in dairy promotion. Learn more here.

Mid-Atlantic Dairy Association and Pennsylvania Dairy Promotion Program offer grants to dairy farmers, dairy promotion committees and dairy princesses to help support grassroots events or projects in the Mid-Atlantic region. Per capita consumption of dairy has increased more than 80 pounds per person since 1984. Your local dairy checkoff organizations work through a variety of programs at the local and national level to increase sales of milk and other dairy foods.
