We showed you milk in movies before the Oscars and now that the 69th Primetime Emmy Awards are here…it’s TV’s turn! This time though, we’re not just stopping with milk. Check out all your favorite dairy treats in the hands of some of your favorite Emmy nominated actors and actresses, on and off the screen.

Lets kick off our list with everyone’s favorite Modern Family.

The Stars

1. Sofia Vergara

Prada in one hand…Breyers in the other. Sofia Vergara certainly has a great sense of style and also knows how to pick a desert. Paparazzi regularly snaps photos of her around town enjoying an ice cream cone!

2. Sarah Hyland

The Emmy Award’s red carpet is a glamorous place and Sarah Hyland had the perfect accessory while strutting down the red carpet in 2016…PIZZA!

3. Jesse Tyler Ferguson

While taking a break from his Modern Family, Jesse works to help modern families in your neighborhood get fresh milk in their fridge through his support of  the Great American Milk Drive. Check out this clip of him chatting with Rachel Ray to talk about the program:

This isn’t the only nominated show starring people that enjoy some dairy in their lives.

4. Anthony Anderson

Anthony Anderson, known for his role in the ABC show Blackish, is also the host of the Food Network show Eating America where he visits food festivals around the country. Yes, we’re jealous, too!

In 2014, he made a stop at the Rockwood Ice Cream Festival in Wilmington, DE where our friends at University of Delaware’s UDairy Creamery were named the winner for “Best Sundae on a Sunday.”

5. Julia Louis-Dreyfus

Julia Louis-Dreyfus may currently be on the show Veep, but we can’t forget about her iconic role as Elaine on Seinfeld! When Elaine is feeling down, she turns to the carton to help make herself feel better…and with good reason! No one can be sad when eating ice cream, right??

6. Stephen Colbert

Speaking of funny people, we can’t forget the host of the Emmy Awards this year.

Stephen Colbert not only serves up late night laughs…he also has given us a late night snack! The Late Show with Stephen Colbert host released his very own Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream flavor in 2007 called Americone Dream. It contains vanilla ice cream, fudge covered waffle cone pieces and a caramel swirl. YUM!

7. Jimmy Fallon

Along with competition for late night viewers, Stephen Colbert also has some competition in the freezer aisle. Jimmy Fallon, the host of The Tonight Show also released his own Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream flavor – The Tonight Dough.

It’s safe to say that Jimmy wins in the overall category of dairy though.  He can scoop like a pro and milk a cow like a pro thanks to his pal Blake Shelton!

Nighttime isn’t the only time we can see dairy on a talk show. These Daytime Emmy Award winning shows have also included dairy as their special guest.

8. Ellen DeGeneres

Scoop it baby one more time? Ellen joined Britney Spears on a shopping trip at the mall which got a little crazy. Our favorite item on their shopping list – ice cream!

The Shows

9. Good Morning America

Good Morning America surprised Fuel Up to Play 60 student ambassador Sophie Schneider by naming her their kid correspondent for Super Bowl LI! Fuel Up to Play 60 is an in-school nutrition and physical activity program launched by the National Dairy Council and the NFL.

Sophie got to hand off the game ball and even had the opportunity to interview some players! The envy is real!

Now that we have gotten our laughs out of the way, lets get a little more serious. Milk has been a staple on the dining tables of families for years…and these Emmy nominated dramas show just that.

10. This is Us

In a scene set sometime in the late 1980’s, milk can be seen with its trusty sidekick, cereal, on the Pearson family’s table during breakfast.

Milk is no stranger to the show’s star Mandy Moore though. Check out this “Got Milk?” ad she did in 2002! Looking good, girl!

11. The Americans

Also set in the late 1980’s, this scene from The Americans shows the Jennings family gathered around the table for breakfast with…you guessed it…milk and cereal!

Fun fact about this show: Matthew Rhys and Keri Russel are married on the show…and in real life! It’s not only their TV family who are fans of dairy though. Here’s them treating their real children to some ice cream! Best. Parents. Ever!

12. Stranger Things

Having shows set in the 80’s is popular right now…almost as popular as having milk on the table. This just goes to show how timeless milk is since families are still pairing it with meals today! In this episode of Stranger Things, they are enjoying milk at dinner.

Now lets take a look back at some past Emmy winners and nominees that held an award in one hand and a dairy treat in the other.

13. Friends

We can’t forget the episode where Ross tries to convince everyone that he invented the “Got Milk?” slogan, or the countless cups of coffee they had that we’re sure also included countless pours of milk and cream. This time though, we want to highlight something else delicious that they all, especially Joey, enjoyed plenty of times throughout the series…pizza! Bet you can’t name a time when you’re friends didn’t LOVE you after you ordered a pizza!

14. The Golden Girls

Like any great meal, we are going to wrap this up with dessert! The ladies on The Golden Girls didn’t always agree on everything, but one thing they did agree on was cheesecake! Whenever they gathered around the kitchen table to discuss their problems, it seemed as though they couldn’t share any solutions unless they were sharing a cheesecake.

Anyone else craving cheesecake now?

Good luck to all the Emmy nominees! If accepting all your awards makes you a little hungry, just remember…

Pizza is just one call away!
